What are we learning in 3D?
MATH:
-Learning how arrays, pictures and repeated addition can all represent multiplication
-Practicing multiplication facts
-Learning strategies to multiply by 2, 4, 5 and 10
READING:
-New reading strategy: Questioning
-Why should good readers ask questions when they read?
-What questions do I have before reading?
-What questions do I have during reading?
-How questions can provide answers about a book or how we can infer answers from asking questions
-Reading the book Sky Boys and practicing this skill
SOCIAL STUDIES:
-Discussing what it means to put something in chronological order
-Learning about the regions of the United States and why the states are grouped in each of those region
WRITING:
-Continuing to use mentor texts to learn about autobiographies
-Talking about the word accomplishment and beginning the pre-writing process of writing our Wax Museum hero's accomplishment
GENERAL/THEME:
-Talk about what it means to have courage and how heroes embody that trait
-Our secret compliment activity
-Growing our GoNoodle champ!
